Nothing special about it. Just a few shops downstairs and upstairs. Found it a bit odd that when we went upstairs and just started browsing, a man said let me know what you like and then went to the other stores. Thought they were seperate...More

The Shops is a tiny mall that is mainly used for the free bathrooms. The hardest thing to do in the French Quarter is to find a place to do your business. These are slightly better (and more numerous) than those by the French Market....More

I still have fond memories of when JAX Brewery was still brewing their beer in the French Quarter. In the evening, the smell of hops filled that part of the Quarter, adding an olfactory element, that was unique. It was especially noticeable when the fog...More

The concessions were the same stuff you could find almost anywhere on the street. Venders were nice and not as pushy as some.

There isn't much here..a couple of overpriced shops and others that seem like flea market style. Plus there are many vacancies. Bathrooms were pretty disgusting.

There are a few shops here directed at tourists. A small food court is here. You can get a quick bite before going for a ride on the Natchez or catching a Gray line tour.

The old Jax Beer Brewery is now home to a collection of shops and restaurants. When I was there, it appeared that a lot of the shops were unoccupied. I was disappointed at the amount of empty space available in this historic building.

This is the old JAX brewery. They have some shops that focus more on local souvenirs. It is certainly worth a visit, as it is convenient to a lot of sites in the French Quarter.

There is a lot of renovation going on at the old brewery these days, so the shops are not as extensive as they used to be, but still worth a visit. Mostly tourist stuff these days, though We missed Chico's which has moved out, but...More

There are not many shops, but they did have a ginormous gift shop. Another plus is that they have public bathrooms, which are limited in New Orleans.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
