About
You can always depend on the kindness of strangers on bikes... Ride with us through the New Orleans neighborhoods we love with the cities original and oldest bike tour company. It’s been over 16 years of great tours and great customers, making us feel like the luckiest folks every day at work. Tours that we have developed over the years include the Creole tour (our culture and history ride) with the stores of the last that explain us today, the culinary bike ride that eats its way through 3 tasty local restaurants, and the history of drinking tour, which is exactly what it sounds like The rides are relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar on our Creole tour where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like (water or nothing are also fine choices). All tours have one speed, slow, as they are designed to not even be close to exercise. Call or email us, we are always here for you.

I was skeptical about a guided bike tour as I like to avoid the "Disneyland" aspects of the city, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Our tour guide Jeff was passionate and highly knowledgeable about the history of the city. We cruised through neighborhoods and saw local architecture and flavor in a slowed-down, meaningful way. The stops along the way were well-timed and offered a lot of flexibility within the structure of the tour (i.e. grab yourself a cocktail). It was a perfect start to the day and I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who enjoys history and the side of New Orleans rarely explored by tourists. Cheers and thank you, Jeff!

My sister-in-law and I were looking for a “COVID” friendly tour during our short time in New Orleans. I have taken 3 other bike tours with CofC and hoped they’d be open and would be able to put a tour together that would allow us to see as much of the local street art in the area as possible. Jeff was amazing to work with on this! We emailed back and forth working out the details and he went above and beyond getting everything set up for us. We ended up having Lara as our amazing tour guide! Lara and the tour were nothing less than fabulous! Her knowledge of the art and the area were beyond anything we could have anticipated. She showed us street art large and small, new and old, many hidden in areas you would not expect to find them and all with a story. The city holds so many beautiful pieces of art that you could never see them all in one day, but she took us to as many as possible! We were able to see pieces in the Bywater, French Quarter, CBD and 7th Ward to name a few. The passion that Jeff and Lara have for this City shines through with each tour. If you have a chance to take a tour with CofC I’d highly recommend it. They offer something for everyone, and if you have something specific in mind they will work to incorporate it into your tour. The bikes are cruisers so very comfortable and easy to ride and you will have the chance to stop for a drink and/or snack along the way. We can’t wait to be back for another tour! Thank you for a great time!

My wife and I took the original Creole bike tour with our 11 year old son. It was a cold day, but we gloved up, and off we went! We’d asked to stop at St. Roch’s market for a snack, and Danny made sure we did it early in the tour so we had plenty of time to enjoy our food and not feel rushed. He was funny, self deprecating, and very knowledge about the history of his adopted city. I especially appreciated that he related the racist parts of the city’s history in a very matter of fact way, no sugar coating just told it like it is. He led us confidently up and down streets, stopping to tell us what made each spot interesting, and historical. He even pointed out a few good local restaurants, and we had a chance to go back to one of them - it was excellent! We had a great time, and I highly recommend the tour.

Outstanding Bike Ride with CoC Tours!!!!!

Danny was very detailed, he make sure he took care of us every moment of the 3 hour bike tour. Very charming guy! He definitely knows his history and the muchest history bores me lol he made it sound so much fun and catching.. also Danny gave us some local tips that worked out for us... affordable and fun this is a bike tour that everyone should try out sometime coming to New Orleans.
Thank you so much for having us!!!!!!

Really cool tour and an incredibly knowledgeable and funny host (Jeff). New Orleans is a very flat city so doing a tour by bike is a fantastic way to see a LOT and yet not be exhausted. Sure, the potholes are epic, but cruisers handle them just fine and you get used to watching where you bike. Jeff not only knows the city and the city's history (both good and the ugly racist/slave port history) but he knows the people...he must have been shouted out to from at least 3 or 4 locals while we were biking, including the owner of a great Frenchman Street music hall that I visited later as a result of a recommendation. Tight tour and very cool host.

I feel so lucky to take an amazing 3-hour bike tour with a passionate guide like DANNY! This was my first time visiting New Orleans and I learned so much in 3 hours, the lay of the land and the history of the city, and got Danny’s number for questions during my stay and recommendations for outdoor live music and food! Just what I hope for in a tour.

The tour covered history, architecture, real estate, culture... how to give and get directions in this crescent city... all on a fun, leisurely and safe bike ride on beach cruisers. Danny was a good “mother hen” watching out for us, I always felt safe. I don’t usually ride bikes myself, especially in a city.

Can’t recommend these tours enough. And I’m a tour guide in Chicago! Will be recommending Confederacy of Cruisers to anyone I hear is coming to New Orleans!

My fiancee and I did a C of C tour hoping for a fun way to see different parts of the city in a different way. It did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Danny, was very knowledgeable and funny. You can tell he loved New Orleans and sharing his knowledge of the city's history, culture and neighborhoods.

This was absolutely a great way to spend a few hours, and we will absolutely be repeat customers when we come back. You also get the benefit of supporting a local business.

Absolutely a fun way to experience the city and have some fun!

I was on a three-hour bike tour of Marigny, St. Roch's, Bywater, and Treme among other spots to see with Danny as our tour guide.

He was beyond fantastic! It was like we were out biking with a good friend and he made the tour so good through his knowledge of the city, its history and the answers to every question we asked.

If you really want to get a taste of the true New Orleans, go on this trip! I'm sure the other tour guides are just as good, but if you can get on Danny's tour, I promise you'll be glad you did!

I lived in NOLA for 5 years and love taking COC bike tours to explore the city whenever I come back to visit! I’ve taken all of the tours and have really enjoyed each of them! The tours feel personalized and evolve depending on the guide and season. It’s a very fun and unique way to see the city, and I always recommend this tour group to friends that visit NOLA. On my most recent tour, Cathy did a great job leading us to several spots for delicious bites. I’ll definitely take the tour again! Thanks!

Our tour with Jeff was the perfect start to our first morning in New Orleans. We appreciated the chance to see a lot of the city doing one of our family’s favorite activities. Our kids are 5, 7, and 9. We knew our younger two wouldn’t be able to hang for a long history tour, but we felt like we still got a great experience seeing and hearing about local culture.
