I left another rating under another naming convention for this site. However, I could not pull up the neighboring Chalmette National Cemetery. So, the cemetery is down a long lane with thousands of fallen warriors from various conflicts. My veteran buddy and I were taken aback by the stark serenity of this lying place for our warriors. Just go there. Just drive down the lane. Stop and read some of the tombstones. Do not forget our fallen and please take kids. There is an entire section of "unknown" fallen warriors. Sad, compelling, and needed to be remembered.…

An outstanding National Park with great visitor center and walking tour. It’s an amazing set of exhibits and artifacts that really show the importance and significance of the battle.
