New Orleans Ghost, Voodoo & Vampire Walking Tour

3,108 reviews
New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and witches. During this walking tour, save time with a guide who knows the quickest routes around the Big Easy and brings the folklore and history of the city to life, all during the creepiest time of day—the night. Plus, a centrally located meeting point makes for a hassle-free, fun evening.

I left another rating under another naming convention for this site. However, I could not pull up the neighboring Chalmette National Cemetery. So, the cemetery is down a long lane with thousands of fallen warriors from various conflicts. My veteran buddy and I were taken aback by the stark serenity of this lying place for our warriors. Just go there. Just drive down the lane. Stop and read some of the tombstones. Do not forget our fallen and please take kids. There is an entire section of "unknown" fallen warriors. Sad, compelling, and needed to be remembered.

Very close to the City of New Orleans, yet it feels far away. I learned a lot about the Battle of New Orleans. It's a lovely area now with a bloody history.
