While this church would not be a destination of places you must see, it is a convenient short stop if you are on the north side of the French quarter or want to take a cemetery tour. It is simple as Catholic churches go but beautiful. A quite place to be still and know he is god. There is also... More

Apparently This is one of the oldest churches in New Orleans but you wouldn't know from the outside. Inside its a bit different, there are stained glass windows and statues of the saints, it's nothing spectacular, in fact quite humble but that adds to the niceness of the church. We were advised that there are usually homeless people in the... More

My son & daughter-in-law were married at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Second Line Parade followed immediately. Father Tony was wonderful! He was very accomadating and informative. I wish he was at my local parish. This church is entrenched in NOLA history and serves the community well. Such a wonderful experience!

This was our next stop after visiting Cemetery No. 1. I had high hopes based on some of the other reviews but ended up being disappointed. The church, while nice, was nothing special. It wasn’t grand and there was nothing particularly ornate about it, it was just a typical church. A lot of tours seem to stop here but mainly... More

This church is old and pretty. There was a Sunday Mass happening when we stopped by. The doors were open to everyone and the streets were quite festive. Anyone that entered respected that mass was going on and either went in or stayed in the back and observed. It was nice

Stopped here today as part of our tour. From the outside the church is unassuming and deceiving. Once you step in through the front doors, it's absolutely beautiful and reminiscent of the old style Spanish churches. There are Saints not usually seen in other states or in American churches from the beautiful vivid stain glass to all the altars. Looking... More

My husband and i attended Sunday Mass and really enjoyed it. It was lively and the music was wonderful. We also enjoyed learning about the churches history. Would recommend visiting but get there early to park and get a seat.

Beautiful church with such a rich history. I also found it wonderful that they run a soup kitchen, and keep their doors open for both visitors and those seeking shelter. Worth a visit.

I am not a believer, but I do believe in beautiful buildings, statues, and the unique religious soup which is New Orleans. In that vein, go here. Is it located in the most beautiful neighborhood? No. But it's fine and it's right on top of the French Quarter and right next to one of the famous graveyards that you should... More
