Much of this area should be walked as it is residential and the buses do not pass down these streets. The architecture of the homes built in the 1800's and early 1900's is impressive. The tree covered streets are beautiful and live oaks and crepe...More

We have a condo on St. Charles Avenue across the street from the Garden District. We love to walk through it to the restaurants and shops on Magazine Street. It's any easy STREETCAR ride from downtown. Don't say TROLLEY as that marks you as a...More

Gorgeous homes. Beautiful scenery. What sets NOLA apart from other southern cities. Can access on tour or on trolley.

Fantastic way to spend a few hours. Very walkable and so much to see. John Goodman and Sandra Bullock houses are worth the time. Great restaurants and little coffee shops. Stop by the Rink the old roller rink that is a quaint shopping venue.

When in NOLA check out the garden district. Some of the most beautiful homes one can find. There is so much history and notable homes to see....check it out.

We didn't use an app. Our hotel provided the info, giving a list for each street. It is easy to figure out.
