Visiting the capitol while at the Farmer’s market in Madison was a great last minute decision. It’s always good to see where the big decisions are made!

This is one of the most impressive state capitol buildings in the country. Try to get there on a day when the dome is open, for a great outdoor view.

The Capital Building at Madison should not be missed. The stones in the building have been brought from many countries in the world. The architecture is awesome.

One of the most beautiful capitol buildings in the country (we've toured several). The tours are interesting and recommended. Make sure to rub the badger's nose. Also check out the seasonal Christmas tree.

The building is beautiful and history information is provided. The best is to get to the top of the building for beautiful views of the city and lakes.

No entry fee for Capitol, just walk one in. I think the tours cost $. There are magnets at the Walgreens down the street.
