A stunningly beautiful building unveiled via a great guided tour packed with historical information about everything from the paintings adorning the chambers to the stone in the rotunda. The tour was just under an hour and thus should even hold the attention of distractible children....More
One of the most beautiful capitol buildings in the country (we've toured several). The tours are interesting and recommended. Make sure to rub the badger's nose. Also check out the seasonal Christmas tree.
Something for everybody: Old statues, New Statues, and most recently: at least 6 or more "Bucky Badger" statues. Add to this, history, the art work and marbles from all over the world. Take the free tour and you'll be so glad you did.
