I accompanied one of my grand daughters on a tour of the Chazen last summer and found it delightful. There is a surprising collection and extremely well displayed. Our docent was well informed and pleasant.

The only expense you may have is paying for parking as admission to the collection is free. It's housed in an impressive and modern building on the campus a couple of blocks from the lake. While the range of the collection is broad I can't say I saw any central theme. That said I assume that anyone viewing the collection... More

The art is displayed in various interlocking rooms, all connected to a central location. Though the pieces generally are not by famous artists, there is still a wide representation of eras and themes. Since the museum is totally free, visitors can stay for whatever length of time best serves their schedules.

Very nice collection of art. If you need to get in out of the cold or heat this is a beautiful place to relax in. Plenty of benches to sit and contemplate the pieces of work.

This is a wonderful art museum. Terrific collection that rivals many we have seen in much larger cities. Great variety of time periods and styles represented.

The art works in this museum fill everyone's needs! The beauty of this place is that there are so many varied collections. The special exhibits had works from nearby and the sharing of the art from nearby Winter Park surprised me! A collection of pottery and the inclusive artwork from Calder was amazing! I would definitely visit again, as it... More

This was out 1st time here. It's an amazing art museum and free also. We didn't have much time, but really enjoyed the breath of art. We will certainly return.

Very eclectic collection, but outstanding quality. Multi-period areas for all different likes. By the way, it's free.
