I was here for a work event, but will definitely visit again and bring my children. The museum is very, very small, compared to some other children's museums. But is does have some activities which would be fun for the kids.

Especially on the second or third day of a grandchild visit, when searching for more things to do instead of plopping them in front of the television, this place is just wonderful. There are so many imaginative things for ages from about a year to about 10 ideally. The kids just love it, and it gives grandparents a break too... More

This visit stirred our imaginations! They were constantly having special classes or presentations going on. Everyone was so helpful and kind. There was something for everyone! My kids age between 3-6. Tons of hands on experiences.

We've been to 6 children's museums in the midwest with our 2 boys, and Madison's... isn't bad. Definitely friendly staff, creative ideas, good layout; the design of the Wildernest is particularly intriguing. But for the cost and size of the building, there wasn't as much to DO, compared to other museums we've visited! Also, a few exhibits were either not... More

Our two grand children always want to go here in the winter. There is so much creative things for kids to do. Also areas for them to run and walk to burn off energy. The wall activities are terrific. So much for a wide range of ages. Yes you can buy food and drinks there. You need a minimum of... More

Great for children one and up. Very busy on Saturdays but everyone was very kind and courteous. Large coat area for diaper bags and even strollers. Small dining area with tables and some food options but you could also bring in a small snack to add. Are children loved it, we were there 3 hours.

Grandson was visiting for the weekend. We stopped in and he played and enjoyed all the things he could touch and see. He is 3 years old, so we stayed on the 1st level that was perfect for his age group.
