A Big beautiful garden near the Gregory lake, but need to pay a hefty entrance fee. Beautiful species of plants and birds. An exotic Sri -Lankan garden. Quite refreshing to have a garnden walk but too big for senior citizens. Some facility for senior citizens should be thought of.

Lovely place to visit & walk around, the trees, flowers and fauna are lovely. In certain areas you can see the monkeys too. Nice to just walk around and stretch the legs if you've been cooped up for a while.

We called in here to see the wonderful rose beds and beautifully kept gardens - a delight. Very interesting trees and the planting was excellent. A gardeners delight - plant sales for lots of interesting information available. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful garden with many varieties of flowers and plants. A guide to the garden or a map would have been a huge help. The paths are unmarked and one wanders around asking for directions. Toilets are widely spaced so best use them when you see em! A golf cart is available but is severely inadequate to cater to the... More

The Garden is maintained very neatly and I being a Botony student really felt very Happy to see so many varieties of plants in this garden. It is very big garden on a small hillock like area and there is a battery car to take you around and it is worth going around as it needs a lot of time... More

This was the first time we have been to the Hakgala Botanic Gardens in April and it is possibly the best time to go there. The flowers in general and the roses in particular were the best we have ever seen them. The majority of the visitors were Sri Lankans and their children - this being the school holidays.

Was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of varieties. More labeling of the names of the flora and fauna would have been helpful. Kept us occupied for about 2 hours.
