Simply stunning

Well worth the 5am start, the views from World's End are every bit as stunning as the guide books say. The view over to Adam's Peak from the approach road is great too. Remember... read more

Well worth the 5am start, the views from World's End are every bit as stunning as the guide books say. The view over to Adam's Peak from the approach road is great too. Remember to check the weather, we had an awesome clear morning, but if it is forecast to be cloudy or foggy the experience will not be the... More

The place is absolutely awesome, unfortunately for me it was a bit foggy so I couldn't see either the mini end of the world or the end of the world. But what's upsetting is that there are no signs, a total of two or three maybe in the entire place!? At some points there were more than one road leading... More

We did a whole walk with our 6 yrs old. It's an easy walk with a breathtaking views. We had a fantastic weather condition and could see all very clearly. Recommend to start early as early as 6am as it's gets busier as day goes by.

We went on a rainy day and the lands was covered with mist, it was magical. But since in a very windy area, the weather changed fast and we got sunshine after an hour or so. Just wait for the sun if you aren't seing anything at worlds end, clouds will pass. Go early in the morning, around 7 is... More

Absolutely amazing, very hard but well worth the effort. We bought tickets as the the sun was rising at 7am. Which meant we were able to enjoy the view from worlds end of the mountains and towns around the area, before the clouds block the view.

Stunning scenery. Long hike and not one single animal. Crowded. You might see animals if you keep away from groups of chinese tourists as they are very noisy.

When you mention World's end, everyone will tell you that you have to go early there. And that's really true! There are few reasons for that. First of all, there will be really lot of tourists interested to visit the place, so it can, easily, become overcrowded. Other important reason is that, in the mid afternoon, it can be very... More

Got to the park at 630am and the ticketing system leaves a lot to be desired , very chaotic & expensive. However once you get in , the park is beautiful, the walk is quite nice and the views from both worlds end and little worlds end are very cool and dramatic. Be sure to get there before 9/10am before... More

I visited world's end in 1998 when I worked as an expat in Sri Lanka. I only had to pay the local fee, seen I was resident, but when I saw what visitors have to pay, already then I thought it way over-priced. Now I turned back when I saw the pricing. I personally find it a total rip-off. The... More
