I was walking around "Legian Street" and saw a money exchange with a fairly good rate. I went in to change 200 Pounds. The guy counted the money in front of me, I counted it and when he handed it over he had only given me half. I walked off and re counted my money to find myself short on... More

Legian Street is quite a mess. Traffic is awful and also GPS gets crazy near by here. For more serious shopping, definitely go to Kuta or Seminyak but, if you're only interested in souvenirs or cheap merchandise, it's worth a stop.

This street can get busy with people as it is the Main Street in Kuta. There are many shops selling tour, tattoos, clothes and spas. A lot of people will try to stop you for a sale but a no thank you works well. Lots of cheap items.

Leave your husband in one of the sport's bars and then have an afternoon of shopping at the many shops located in Legian Street. Most do sell the same items but they do allow you to wander in and look at everything without too much hassle. Every shop owner wants the illusive sale. Be prepared to bargain. Good luck!

If you looking for something to buy, is good ideal to stay on this street because not many tourist, you can bargain, however the price are different. Don't expected friendly service, because mostly are dealer.

Jalan Legian is a long street and merges with the equally straight and long Raya Seminyak to provide kilometres of varied shopping and dining experieces. The street is kept clean daily and the footpath is in food order, but you still have to weave your way through hawkers, scooters parked on the footpath and other tourists, some of whom are... More

All the stores sell the same goods. The boys and men in the stores were constantly harassing me and my daughter. We were dressed respectfully as this is my 6th trip to Bali but the first time staying in Legian. Legian is not a family friendly place. Too much booze, motorbikes and noise. Not relaxing at all.
