A great place to visit when touring around Amlapura. The whole Amlapura region is a very beautiful part of the world, a true tropical paradise where the locals take great pride in their gardens, houses and farms.

A very small entrance fee to some of the prettiest gardens we have seen for a long time. The water, the structures and the terraced gardens all seemed to be in perfect harmony and even on the hottest of days were a pleasure to stroll around.

Ujung is just east of Amlapura, up the east coast of Bali. When Mt Agung erupted in 1963 (?), the water palace was destroyed. It has since been rebuilt ans is a nice place to visit. In an effort to convince the Gods that it is still destroyed, the main entry way has been left as it was after the... More

Too much people, missing the spirit of bali as there are attractions for children. Trip advisor recommendation as a framed portrait beside the king's photo... You can take some nice photos there, but thats about it.

Well maintained park. Welcomed on the parking lot by the vendors as usual. Ignore them, pay your entrance fee and have nice walk through this park. Take some nice pictures, climb the stares to the highest point for an overview of the park and make a round through the park where you can see people jog. Not jaw dropping but... More

I came here with a group and there were only a few other tourists around. It's very scenic and relaxing. We took our time walking around, admiring the gardens and the architecture. There are wonderful views all around but by walking up the steps to the rear of the gardens, you will be rewarded by a magnificent view. There isn't... More

This Royal Garden is worth visiting, the complex has a composite of Balinese and European architecture and the gardens are beautiful. There are three large ponds which are connected by long fascinating bridges and pathways. If you walk up the steps at the far end of the garden you will get breath-taking views of the garden and mountains. On one of... More

I love this place. When I went here, I was the only tourist around and a few locals. I guess people don't come here because of the location, but if you are on your way to Tirta Gangga and Lempuyang Temple, drop by this place. The place is clean and very well maintained. The floors were just waxed and can... More
