Visited the Ujung Water Palace as part of a day trip from Amed. We got there around 5pm, there were very few people around. I think most people there at that time were locals, just exercising or walking with family/as a couple. A nice way to finish a day trip, but I think once you have visited Tirta Gangga, you... More

The Ujung Water Palace has a couple of beautifully manicured gardens with an amazing combination of Balinese and European architecture with long elegant bridges and pathways. A nice place for an evening stroll. A definitely must visit when in Karangasem!

This is the place where the king would go to rest and recharge and I can certainly see why. It is a fair ride from the main tourist area but definitely worth a visit.

It was raining when i visited this Water Palace! The complex is gorgeous, spanning 10 hectares of property. The royal water garden complex is a great walk to admire history and views surrounding.

This is a fairly large place. Plan on walking/strolling for at least a couple of hours. There is also some climbing involved. The terraced gardens and flowers are quite beautiful. We experienced a heavy rain downpour while we were there, but just hung out under the top terrace awning to wait it out. It was a fascinating view! The architecture... More
