A small yet beautiful beach. You dont get much space to stand and wet your feets. But you can bath easily by getting a little inside the ocean.

Had been there twice - Dec 2016 and May 2017. This beach is crowded and dirty. For those who travel all the way to see the southernmost tip of India- this maybe warrant a 30min stop. Definitely needs a facelift

It was clean, less crowded beach..while we were here we visited the twin hidden beach and I can say it was the most inexpensive private cove one could have

This is the southern most point in India and its actually a confluence (SANGAM) of Bay of Bengal,The Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. Beach area is crowded, but good to enjoy local scenes and goo climate @ night. no disturbance. Beach is near to the Kanyakumari temple.

The beach is not the kind which you find in Goa. It's quite rocky throughout, not much place to swim or relax.

Quiet beach, also its a passage of dead sea, people come to this beach mostly in the morning to see the sun rise and its magnificent to watch the sunrise here on the beach. Also there are lot of varieties of sea products like sea shells, pearls etc. for your home decoration and personal use.and are very cheaply available here. You... More

This could be perhaps the smallest of beaches anywhere in India and not beach literally. Mostly pilgrims type tourists come here and do some offerings. The waves are quite strong and not safe to venture in water, its not a sand beach but blunt rocks which can cause serious injury in case of a fall. Only suitable for viewing. Loots... More

Unexpectedly we went kanyakumari without any plans so we enjoyed the unexpected thing its really only 200rs in my purse but we enjoyed the road side food and the sunset there without any hesitation. Kanyakumari is a pleasant place because it is the starting point of asia.Every indian have the dream of k to k (kashmir to kanyakumari).
