Would be a nice beach, but the beach is used for all the human needs....i.e. public toilet. There congregate thousands and thousands of pilgrims every day and they surely have no money for the paid toilets. Imagine.......

beautiful place. very small beach. a place of religious importance. you can see the confluence of the seas and the ocean. Clean and blue water. You can see beautiful sunset from the place.

very scenic......three oceans can be seen with different colours of water......sun set & sunrise is excellent.......lot of street vendors for eatable and monuments......beaware of buying costly pearls apart from the Tamilnadu handicraft shops or outlets.

Most of the sandy part of the beach is eroded by waves and now only a small portion of the sandy part and rest is covered with rocks. The shore line is lined with Gandhi memorial, Kamaraj memorial and Parks. There is one viewing tower....More

It is possible if not rain there. But you have to stay upto atleast one hour extra to get a view of the sunset.

Sunrise can be seen from Kanyakumari beach. However, it can be seen from most of the hotel tarraces too. Sunset can be seen from Cape Comorin, which is also within 1 km from town's center.
