Monsoon is probably the best time to go here. You can take family here as well. Kids (above 5 years) can do this trek too. The view is beautiful from the top. This fort looms over Amby valley. There are ponds and waterfalls on top....More

Visited here in June, the beginning of Rain, got some Awesome Weather , when we reached the Top is was COLD ! Some locals had were serving Tea and Pakodas.... Wow! Simple Trek, kid friendly.

We visited this Fort last week only. The trek was so beautiful in the rains, and the waterfall in between makes it just awesome. Trek is moderate and my 7 year old son has also easily climbed to the fort. My suggestion : Must go...More

Very good experience in rainy and foggy trek. Its very good place and on top of the fort 2 lakes are there . All around the fogg and there is snacks for refreshment.

Best time to visit koraigad..monsoon Don't go for one day picnic.. it will become hectic because of too much traffic and visitors .. Plan for stay near koraigad in ambavane village where u can get decent room at very affordable price .. Search for Green...More

Make sure the guide knows the exact route from the village in the beginning. It feels like you are wandering into a jungle but the steps do finally emerge. Really worth the climb. Totally deserted and stunning.

Yes , City bus available there . In front of Koraigad fort there is bus stop.
