Peaceful atmosphere!! Temple has its own elephants!! Gents should not wear shirts!! Preferable for the gents to visit the temple wearing traditional vesti or mundu or panche or dhothi!!

It is possible to visit the Ambalapuzha temple and return back to Alleppy in about 3 hours time if you leave early morning say around 6.30 am. I did not visit the St.Mary's church so can not give any information on that. All... More
