Very quite and beautiful place. Cheap and easy to get to via the tourist bus (4rmb return). Barely any visitors. Excellent underground museum. Bring your own food and water as there is little selection there. Use the underpass to visit the other side of the...More

Our guide, Mary(Maryguide), suggested going there before the Terracotta Army, and she was right. Gives an excellent idea of what the emperor Han Jingdi wanted to achieve and how the emperor Qin took it to extremes with his Terracotta Army. Read about it before visiting...More

We visited this underground museum by ourselves without a guide. We took a taxi there from Xian city centre, he waited for us then drove us back. You can also catch a bus there from the city but I believe there is only 4 services...More

We did this museum after seeing the Terracotta warriors. It was interesting and well done but hard to compete with the warriors. I wouldn't really recommend this.

A great experience of tomb walking: the glass corridors meander among the pits in a quiet and dark atmosphere. No crowds when we visited. The era of Emperor Jingdi is worth discovering. The perfect complement to the more popular Terracota Warriors Museum. Transportation is the...More

This is a modern underground museum that reveals the burial area of the Han Dynasty emperor Jimgdi. The trenches open to viewing are 35 feet underground. It's difficult to get good photos because of the low light level.

I do not remember seeing a restaurant there. There might have been a small store where you might get a snack. When I visited two summers ago there was not any services in the area.
