What to do in Kampot: 1) Bokor National Reserve incl 'ghost town' trip. 2) Salt lakes, pepper plantation and countryside trip. 3) River trip for sunset photos and Firefly demonstrations! Number 2 & 3 are good and worth the money but our trip to Bokor...More

Still definitely worth while to pay a visit to this strange area. The Catholic church and some smaller buildings are still in their abandoned state, which is intriguing and a quite special experience. Unfortunately the (so I've been told) most iconic building, the casino, is...More

If you enjoy cruising with the motorbike you will have a nice day. The road is the cool for driving. And if you can rent a bigger motorbike than 125cc rent it for this day!!

The chinese are building everywhere resorts. Its nice to drive through the park with a scooter. But its such a shame they renovate the old casino (see picture)

The Palace is under renovations. There is no point in going up to Bokor. What a sad real estate transaction from Chinese people

Rent a motorbike and enjoy the amazing road to get in Bokor Hill Station. Once on the top, you will get to see some more or less impressive ghost buildings from another time (even if not so long ago). Bring snacks with you, you don't...More

Great ride up to the top if you like 30km of hairpin turns. Some great views, much cooler temps which is fun after the heat. Then at the top, there is a giant monstrosity of a Chinese hotel, something like a very cheap, very ugly,...More

We enjoyed our 1/2 day out to Bokor Hill, we hired a scooter and unlike a couple of idiots took our time heading up the hill. This way you are rewarded with nice scenery and the opportunity to see Hornbills. The church is a nice...More

.This and the old temple are the only things worth seeing on the Bokor Hill. Not worth driving all thew way up the mountain for but if you are there then it is worth visiting to muse on times gone by.

The old buildings are so picturesque and derelict with many hints of what went down there with bullet holes in the church, mortar damage and make-shift buttresses which the Khmer Rouge would have used to defend the road. The main old building was not accessible...More

Probably best to stay in Kampot and make it a day trip from there. The bus PP to Kampot is 4.5 hours one way and the ride up to Bokor is another hour, so you'd spend 9 hours in a bus if such a day tour even exists
