We were lucky enough to have Sa as our kayak guide. He speaks excellent English and has a wealth of knowledge about the local area. We are a family of 4 with two kids aged 9 and 10. He was so kind to them, making jokes and playing with them in the water at the end of our kayak trip. He is very humble, not pushy at all and we felt super comfortable with him. Highly Highly recommend this guy! Thank you Sa!

We spent the last three days with Sa and had an incredible time! After arriving in Kampot and settling in, we spontaneously decided we wanted to catch the sunset on kayak. I had gotten Sa’s contact through a friend a few weekends before but unfortunately at that time Sa was booked. I messaged Sa this time around 4:30pm to see if he knew about kayak rentals and he mentioned his own sunset kayak tour that he did. 15 minutes later he picked us up from the random shop we were at and we were off to have a beautiful kayak trip full of laughs, singing, water lily crowns, lots of info, and ending in a post-sunset swim. The next two days with Sa were equally full of joy, laughter, smiles, music, and great representations of Cambodia’s charm. We swam in the secret lake, went to the pepper farm, had a very local lunch with noodles and banh xeo, and trekked to a beautiful waterfall, but those things along were not the best part of the tours. Most of all, we are so happy and grateful to have discovered Sa - there is no way we would have seen the side of Kampot that Sa showed us on our own and absolutely loved Sa as our guide. He is full of light, generous, and makes everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. Thank you Sa for showing us such an amazing time ❤️❤️

We booked Sa over the phone on a bus after a travel mix up with bookmebus
Took the Kayak tour with a traditional Cambodian lunch Sa is an excellent guide and serenaded us on the tour with his amazing voice.
Sa then took us to the bus office (that we had been messaging for 3 days for a refund)and talked to the bus company and we had a cash refund within 10 minutes.
The next afternoon, Sa picked us up promptly from our accommodation and took us on a tour of Kep. The drive to Kep was dusty but Sa did his best to make our journey comfortable.
In Kep we visited the Crab Market. The Kep Crab Market was well worth a visit especially with Sa as our guide. His knowledge of the market, food and stall holders made for a truely authentic experience. Moving through the tight, fragrant stalls, with Sa's help we tried the local Duran (surprisingly tasty), fresh BBQ squid with chilli sauce, deep fried crab and BBQ rice cake wrapped in banana leaves.
After the Crab Market ,Sa took us to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a refreshing drink overlooking the Gulf of Thailand before a ride along the coast line.
Nothing was a problem for Sa. If we wanted to stop or if we had questions, Sa was always helpful.
Next on our tour was a visit to the salt fields. Sa's knowledge helped us to understand not only how the salt was made but the experiences of the workers as we walked around the fields and witnessed people tending to and harvesting the salt.
After a short trip away from the coast up the mountain, Sa took us to a temple. Now many people may be templed out but after the crowds of Ankgor Wat but to visit a isolated temple and quietly contemplate the coastal vista all alone was a unique experience.
Thanks, Sa for an amazing couple of days in Kampot. What was a totally unplanned visit turned out to be a highlight of our trip thanks to Sa.

Mr. Sa is kind-hearted and an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable and throughout the trip, he shared historical fun facts and his ancestral knowledge about local plants and their uses.
We hiked for about an hour in the tropical forest before reaching a beautiful waterfall where we bathed in fresh water. The hike was a true adventure, with us climbing rocks and walking through narrow pathways. I felt safe because Mr. Sa was always very attentive and has extensive experience in guiding people on these types of tours.
We felt that the trip was very authentic because he took us to a local area far from typical tourist hotspots.
Mr. Sa has an incredible personality. He is very joyful and speaks perfect English. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out that he spoke some French and knew more about French pop culture than we did (we are french). He gained these insights through the meaningful bonds he created with his other customers, which demonstrates the effort he puts into every trip.

Such a great day with the wonderful Sa. A welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic guide with a comfy tuk tuk. We got shown around a cave by him which was fab as he had a lot of knowledge and took us to parts we wouldn’t have gone otherwise.
My favourite thing was driving through the rural areas of kampot and seeing the houses and meeting kids along the way. I would really recommend doing this it’s such a good insight and I think it’s great for Sa to show you around.
We went to La Plantation followed by the salt planes both of which were so beautiful.
Thank you so so much Sa for all your knowledge and happiness. 👍🏼❤️

If we could give Mr. Sa a "superb, perfect, best of the best" rating we would! Our time in lovely Kampot was cut short due to lost luggage but Mr. Sa saved the day! His knowledge of Kampot region/culture is the best there is and you will not regret hiring him. We happened upon him with his Tuk-tuk at Milano's Pizza Cafe and he took care of us for the remainder of our stay. We loved our tour through the countryside and villages, our hike to Elephant Cave, a visit to a local school and the wonderful, funny and extremely knowledgeable conversation. Mr. Sa went above and beyond, arranging pickup and delivery of our luggage, took us to town on multiple occasions and honestly showed that he cared about our stay in his town. There were tears shed when we had to say goodbye. Hire him......you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will have THE BEST time with him.

Sa is such an amazing tour guide! My friend and I met him by complete chance and we are so glad that we did. He took us up Bokor Mountain and to a beautiful swimming hole that we would never have found if it wasn’t for him! He speaks great English, has the best sense of humour and also knows so much about the local area which was very eye-opening to learn about. Would very highly recommend him, particularly if you are thinking of going on day trips around Kampot.

Sa is the absolute best. I’ve been traveling Southeast Asia for weeks and he is the nicest person I have met and best driver I have had. He took us to La Plantation pepper farms, secret lake, to the salt farms, and on a scenic drive along a river all in a half day trip. I can’t recommend him enough. Thanks Sa!

Sa took me for a tour of Bokor National Park. From start to finish, he infused the entire journey with a contagious sense of fun and enthusiasm that made every moment memorable. The wealth of knowledge Sa has about the park was brilliant, as he guided me through the stories and details about the park. This was an unforgettable adventure… the best tour I have done!

We had an amazing day with Sa. He showed up early was super friendly, spoke great English and had a great day all planned out. Having a local guide who can answer questions and interpret makes a big difference when your trying to really explore and understand a new country and culture. Would highly recommend spending a day with Sa, you won’t regret it.

You would need to ask home but my guess is between $1 and $2 USD as 5 minutes isn't far
