I use this trails at least 3 time per week. Well maintained and most vistiors are respectful, i.e. no bikes on hiking only trails. Many trails to choose from.

We enjoyed our afternoon here. It is very beautiful. Rentals are expensive compared to other lake parks. The workers are very friendly and helpful.

All of the trails around Lake Brandt are well groomed and worth hiking. Parking so far is ample at each trail head although watch carefully when crossing the street. If you walk quietly you may see wildlife. Lots of waterfowl and flowers in the spring.

Well defined and marked paths. Parking area to trail head. Peaceful stroll through the woods. I didn't care for the trail stopping and having to cross N. Church St. in a 45 mph zone, even with it marked for a crosswalk.

Beautiful Lake! Thought the trails were maintained and marked well. Sat on the lake for about an hour! It was awesome!

The trails at Lake Brandt actually parallel Lake Higgins and Lake Townsend as well. If you know what you are doing (talk to a fellow walker, or spend a little time looking at the Greensboro trails maps, which are online), there are at least 50-60 miles of trails in this area. You can also scan the site for Piedmont Hiking... More

Quite good place for trail running. Trails are well identified and easy to follow. Not very demanding trail (only few shorts hills), and a part is on asphalt. The only annoying point is that you cannot really do a loop around the lake. Well, it is possible to do, but you have to follow the road without pedestrian track for... More

The trails here are well marked and maintained. You can walk a short 3 miler or take all day. There are a variety of ways to combine different trails to make long or short hikes. Hiking across the bridges in Lake Brandt was a highlight.

Great apartment with proximity to beautiful walking trails. Lots of linens and up to date TV, wifi and appliances. Comfortably furnished. Perfect for a dog as there is a completely enclosed, private area in the rear, although there was no high end outdoor furniture. This was a short visit as we were in Greensboro to attend a wedding, although there... More

There are a variety of trails graded by difficulty. You will often have great views of the lake (there are a few lakes here). The trails are clean and well-marked with lots of points of entry. They are also well-used. You won't see lots of people but you will see others with some regularity. Since you are out a bit,... More
