We visited here one day during the week before thanksgiving with our 3 year old and some friends that have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. We all had a blast! We had only a few hours to kill while passing through Greensboro, so we stopped by the Science Center. As a special treat we booked the penguin encounter and were not disappointed. With a small group we were able to talk with staff as we learned about the penguins diet, habits and behavior. We eventually got to interact with two... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon visiting the science center and zoo. The grandkids liked the penguin and shark feeding. The zoo is nicely done and a good size for our 10 year olds. Signage is excellent and the grownups learned a few things as well.

This place is just awesome for kids & adults alike. There are so many interesting things to see , interact with & learn about. The kids just loved the petting zoo and other creatures to interact with. Great place to spend time with your family because there is so much to see. Both kids & adults will love this place.

I always enjoy visiting the Greensboro Science Center. Last time I was there, they had just gotten an amazing new octopus in their SciQuarium. I love their exhibits, and the exhibit for this octopus is great!

My big kids love to go too! A first class facility that now features a ropes course and a pretty good zoo. The aquarium is top notch too!

This place had a wide variety of things to see...dino replicas, fossils, weather area where you could see lightning, lots of living things indoors - snakes, frogs, spiders, lizards, fish, sharks, penguins, some unusual creatures I had never seen before. They also had a play area with a food truck, a submarine w/ periscope, a pirate ship. Then outside they... More
