We managed to hit the aquarium when it was very slow so we could take our time and let my 9 month old just stay and watch. It's not our favorite aquarium, and slightly overpriced, but it was a good experience.

I've been to many aquariums before and this one probably the best I've been to inside of America. In my opinion the best part is the glass tunnel that runs under the big tank though the penguins are a close second. I'd say you get full value for your ticket. It's big, but not too big that you don't still... More

My 19 year old son and I took a 3 day trip to Gatlinburg and decided to check out the Aquarium. The aquarium was conveniently located, clean and well staffed. They have lockers inside you can rent to hold your stuff while you are there. The selection of sealife was diverse and the moving sidewalk where the fish/sharks swim over... More

Ripley's Aquarium is a pretty great offering for a small mountain town. It isn't extremely large, but the manta rays and sharks are both key components that make the experience worthwhile. My one hangup is the price. It's really overpriced. There's no way around it. We didn't feel like we'd been "had", as everything in Gatlinburg is typically expensive, but... More

The closest we had to this growing up was the zoo. The tunnel under the shark tank was my favorite. If you have children this is deff the place to go. There is soo much to see and do from touching jelly fish to watching penguins play. I really liked that you could get a combo package for two other... More

WOW!! Great Aquarium! We are a homeschool family and received a discount - ended up being around $10/person. Kids are 12 & 14 and they loved it. Easy to walk around - nice variety of animals - shark exhibit was superb!! LOVE the moving walk-way - allows you to look and film without worrying of where you're going. My husband... More

We went there on Christmas Day. It was a lot of fun. They have a convenient parking garage just up the hill from the aquarium a hundred yards or so. The staff was friendly. They had multiple viewpoints of the large tank, as well as the penguin exhibit. The sharks were awesome. The penguins were a lot of fun to... More

We really enjoyed this place. Can't wait to go back. It is a beautiful, well taken care of place inside and out. The picture taker was nice and the kids loved the play area!
