The owner/proprietor of this store is the rudest person in the entire area. Besides being self impressed about being a blacksmith and quilter she is arrogant and condescending. She spoke to me like you would to a 4 year old and invited me to leave....More

Very impressed with several of the shops - some very talented artisans there. But disappointed in the fact that there were alot of shops that were empty. More art galleries than craft shops. But it was a pretty drive and worth the trip.

We drove the arts and craft trail and spent over an hour at the Community. The crafts were just frankly very disappointing--amateurish, common, and appealing to the least common denominator. Wish we'd skipped this and spent an extra hour in the Great Smokies.

Each shop has wonderful art created by the local people. You can find pottery, leather work, candles, jams, paintings, photography and antiques. A unique outing.

T I would only take muhee area is mostly pet friendly but many of the shops are small and crowded. I would only take my pet if it was small and well behaved.
