My family and I went here today. It started off nice some stores we liked. Some stores were a little old and smelly. Most of the the people were nice and friendly. It was definitely quieter than the strip in Gatlinburg. We were having a nice relaxing day going from shop to shop until we hit the love life live... More

I had the wrong impression of how the crafters/artisans were located. I had pictured a long strip with shops sitting next to each other; instead most were far spread and you may drive for 1/4 mile before seeing another shop. We did stop in a couple areas--and were not disappointment with the quality/uniqueness of talents. I would recommend doing your... More

There are so many unique things to experience when you visit the Arts and Crafts Community. Alewine Pottery, Tim Weberding Woodworking, Kountry Antics are just to name my favorite shops. Have spent years coming to this community of artisans but most have moved out and the area has become very run down. Once picturesque now not a pleasant place to be except for the Plum Tree Tea Room.

We love to walk around in downtown Gatlinburg, but the Arts and Crafts Community has become our favorite part of town. As downtown has become more predictable with chains, t-shirt shops, and generic curios, this area remains unique. There are plenty of cool shops and artisans with merchandise that reminds you of "old" Gatlinburg.

Wide variety of craft stores spread through the valley this trail follows. Some store hours are unpredictable.

Beautiful drive for all season just a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg, many stops along the was of gift shops, art studios and cafes. At one time you could actually see craftsmen at work, not to many anymore, but may still be a shop or two with craftsmen. Still village is a delight

We were definitely off season but found good shops to visit. Unfortunately we picked up a nail in a back tire early on the visit and detoured immediately to get the tire repaired without being able to complete the stops we identified. We were out of time and out the area when the repair was completed. My only purchase was... More

Some stores are awesome, some are not. Whaleys wood is our favorite! Cliffdwellers is worth stopping at as well. We also like the Candle making and leather store on 321.
