Great selection of items from things you take camping, books, clothing to gifts. People were very helpful and loved the brands they carried.

I was somewhat expecting LSTP to be a bit of a touristy trading post, but I was surprised that they did have quite a selection of gear for preparing you to enjoy the outdoors here in the Grand Marais area of the North Shore. Found some good books on hiking, as well as some gear for our dog who joins... More

This is always a fun place to stop by when in the area. There is something to interest everyone. We were up here with our kids on a rainy day and stopped in for some cold weather gear and found what we were looking for.

This is a fun store that is good for tourists and locals since they sell products helpful to the northern MN lifestyle. I would come back to this store.

Nice well stocked store for the hikers, canoeist and tourists. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. A must stop if going to the boundary waters or hiking etc.

We love taking a drive to grand marias for the weekend. We love the small town and all the little specialty stores. It feels like a world away! It's so layer back and relaxing. We like the trading post store too. It's fun to spend a few hours just looking at their little treasures.

The 'trading post' fits in perfectly with the wilderness theme of Superior National Forest and the BWCAW. Everything you need for your camping experience is here as well as great books about and from the area. Lots of nordic items as well as good quality souvenirsl. One of three places in Grand Marais to which almost all tourists make a... More
