We were surprised at how nice the $120 boat ride was. It was 6.5 hours round trip but the boat was very comfortable. They provide free granola bars, apples, coffee, lemonade and water. The walk to Rainbow Bridge from the boat dock was very pleasant.

It took a few hours to get the bridge, however the scenery from the boat was great. The boat stewards were very friendly and had some nice conversations with them. They had water ,lemonade in the cooler. Also coffee and some apples. On the way...More

We'd always wanted to see Rainbow Bridge and although we are avid hikers/backpackers, putting together the logistics of the hiking route just didn't appeal to us. Plus, we had never been on Lake Powell. We totally enjoyed the long boat ride to and from Rainbow...More

According to trip advisor Rainbow bridge national was supposedly with in 3 miles of Page Az . It is not. Trip Advisor led us to a subdivision in Page. Disappointing. It's actually back toward Monument Valley in Utah. We should have stopped on our way...More

This is a really long tour - around 7 hours - to see the world's largest natural stone bridge. The boat tour is quite scenic as it travels 50miles up Lake Powell, large rock formations either side and you get an headset so you can...More

An easy hike to a great photo op - definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. We'd already toured Arches National Park but there's no such thing as too many rock formations.

Rainbow bridge is definitely worth the seeing. We navigated the narrow waterways on our smaller power boat and were surprised when we arrived to see 2 houseboats docked. Not sure how they did that, and I would not recommend it. We were advised by people...More

The relaxing cruise through different landscape is interesting and long. there is a walk to the rainbow arch. The ship provided us with cold water to bring along and it is important to take it. the walk is hot and dry.

Another good bit of advice would be to sit in the middle part of the boat! I learned this years ago.

Hi Liz, Thank you in advance for your time. My friends and I are interested in visiting Rainbow Bridge, we were wondering what transportation service did you use for the Lake Powell Boat Tour. Thank you, Emily

We have our own boat and know the lake very well. We always see 'new boaters' getting lost. If you have your own boat and are experienced, then it is a great adventure. Follow the channel markers. It is easy to end up... More
