Very easy and interesting. Great place for people that like walk on flat semi-groomed trail. Lots of wild life, bears, moose, birds, and flowers.

This is a great trail for birding. We also spotted moose and black bear. The trail itself is lovely and there's a good diversity of habitat.

We spent a half day checking out all the different plants, mushrooms ect. Just a fun nice place to hike and walk.

It's pretty, but not comparable to many of the other gorgeous hikes in Alaska. A nice transition from Forest to ocean view. It was past the season for nagoon berries so we didn't see any. Their bushes look like small strawberry bushes.

This trail is a lovely way to spend the afternoon, strolling through Alaskan wilderness. Visitors can spot wildlife, birds, and flowers in bloom along the way. Some birds spotted from the trail include, bald eagles, crossbills, winter wrens, and a boreal owl.

....we sighted a mama grizzly and her two cubs 100 yards up the trail, so we turned around and went back the way we came!

It is level, but unpaved. It is also a bit narrow in a few places. I think it would be inadvisable. The staff at the National Park might be able to recommend an alternative.
