Totally fun - preserves Coney Island's wacky history. It's at the entrance of Coney Island and right off the subway entrance for only 5$. The experience was essentially a live show on a loop of sword swallowing, knife throwing, belly dancing, and the like. There...More

Nice little historical museum. It's about $5 to enter. Staff is friendly and eager to talk about the history. Good little spot to get away from the massive beach crowd as well. Stop at the bar when you exit for a beer or 2.

If you want food, rides, walking, baseball, or the beach it's here. So much to do. We go for baseball and hot dogs. Lost of new rollercoaster. The charm is back.

Small but perfectly formed, the museum resides in an old restaurant building. A wide range of relics from Coney's varied history displayed in an unpretentious and informative way. Extremely helpful and knowledgable staff on hand to explain and contextualise further. The bar downstairs is friendly...More
