I am happy I dared but will not do it again. Is it safe? I found it scary. I would not recommend this attraction to people with neck or back issues. For the rest: line went fast, service friendly, 10USD is the correct price

Built in 1927 this wooden roller coaster is still amazing. It has a good amount of dips and was a good length. Ride is 10$ and the staff was very friendly and was focused on safety. This is a must if in Coney Island.

This iconic ride is worth the visit. Tickets are $10. We were there at the opening of the season, so there was no line so we went right on and sat in the back. For an old coaster, it still makes you laugh, smile, and...More

I remember going on the Cyclone when I was 8. What a thrill! An old wooden rollercoaster! Every time I am in the area, I must ride at least 4 times!

While visiting Coney Island with family we decided to take a ride on the Cyclone. It is not one of the many modern rollercoasters where you get twisted and tumbled upside down and you have to throw up during the ride or when you get...More

The Cyclone is an iconic American roller coaster and is located in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. This is an old fashioned wooden coaster that opened in 1927 (however the tracks have been recently upgraded and are not the originals from the...More

I have been on many more roller coasters that have been bigger and faster than the Cyclone but nothing beats it! The views when you go around that first hill are a knock out of the park. You would think you were landing in the...More

A classic New York icon. A trip to Coney Island wouldn't be complete without checking out or riding The Cyclone. Tickets are priced at $10 per ride. Thought it would be much larger, but the historical value was still enjoyable to take in.

Great old roller coaster. Nobody in line today got to sit in the front. Still holds up as a thrill in the modern roller coaster world. Well worth the $10.

The Cyclone just celebrated its 90th birthday, and it remains (to say the least) spry. In fact, it’s still powerful and frightening. But there’s no reason to be scared of fragile antiquity: though often described as a “wooden” coaster--and much of it is wood--its main...More
