So fun so good!

Most definitely worth going here! See awesome Williamsburg area, and enjoy a fun day at the food market. The ice cream sandwiches and Ube kitchen's Halo Halo are to die for!

This was so much fun. We got there after 1pm so it was really crowded, but we expected that and we had the time so it didn't bother us. There are plenty of places to sit outside of the food area, so best idea is to grab some food and go down by the water or they had a huge... More

Ok, first get yourself good and hungry. Walk to east 34th and take the east river ferry to Williamsburg. Grab a beer on the ferry, cheapest in New York. Then follow the hipsters to food heaven. I mean this follow them, don't mix up Kent st and Kent Avenue if you do it's a short walk from Kent st to... More

The Smorgasburg experience was great. Plenty of choices for food from all types of cuisine. I will be sure to visit again in another year or so to see what's new!

We travelled across from Manhattan on the East River Ferry - a great way to arrive. We went on a Sunday and arrived around 30 mins after opening. It was the perfect time as it turned out: we were able to spend an hour or so touring the stalls and trying a few dishes which ranged from delicious classics like... More

Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, I thought we were pretty up-to-date on food fads. 10 minutes going through Smorgasberg proved all of that wrong. I saw Cambodian and Puerto Rican food, neither of which have exploded as ethnic foods. There were raindrop cakes, unicorn waffle cones, quail eggs on a stick, and more. If you’re a foodie, it... I live just down the block from this place and I go almost every weekend. It is only held on Sat 11am-6p but things get sold out by 4p and they start breaking down their stations around 5p. I would suggest getting there before 1p, otherwise it is super crowded and the lines can be extremely long. It's held outside... More

So worth a visit. So many stalls catering to everyone. Never had so much choice! Perfect for vegans and veggies. Loved it.

So I have to admit I love food markets. It is a weakness of mine where my heart(stomach) truly rules my head (wallet). I know I am well and truly getting ripped off by paying exorbitant prices on the most minuscule of dishes. I know that. Yet, like a moth to a blue light, I am drawn into those young... More

A lot of vendors selling clothes, accessories, vintage items in the building (on the first and second floor). If you are looking to do some vintage shopping, be prepared as it is quite pricey here. The variety of food vendors located at the basement was good. They had a few fusions available and desserts as well. Definitely a must go.
