Parking is non-existent as more so-called luxury building go up.these buildings are big on the outside and have mouse-trap size apts for rent or sale at the highest... More

Sheepshead Bay is the closest you get to a seaside town in Brooklyn. The side streets that lead up to the beach are lined with beautiful old homes. I had many friends that lived in them way back when I went to Lincoln High School. There is a nice marina that had day boats that go out deep sea fishing.... More

I live in Sheepshead Bay and would recommend visiting the area when in NYC. We have a beautiful Marina on Emmons Avenue which also host a number of great restaurants.

This is a pretty area of Brooklyn which is right on the water with many fishing boats going out daily for their catch. You can sign on and catch your own fish. Many restaurants line Emmons avenue, which is the main street. The whole area would be amazing it they did some redevelopment.

Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay has a marina, and is a great place to take a walk, enjoy one of the many restaurants and admire the view. In the summer it is a short bus ride or walk to Manhattan Beach (in Brooklyn not Manhattan). There is a parking garage and street parking so you don't have to worry about... More

I walked along remembering the "good memories" I had with my family. Family eating clams on the half shell, love and laughter. Times change but memories of one's childhood last forever. Make new memories while you can.

It seems wherever you look here you are surrounded by apartment buildings. I've been coming here to visit friends for over 40 years and there has been a change in the character of the neighborhood. Good access to public transportation and getting into the city.
