We returned here after a long time. It was sad not to find the Twin Towers (yes, that much time) but the view is still beautiful. We were glad to see that Brooklyn is turning into a much, much better place. Even though Brooklyn Heights has always been a very nice neighborhood, I can say that it's better now.

Beautiful place to walk around and take some pictures with the New York City skyline behind you. Great for kids as well, many benches.

One of the most iconic views in NYC. It's about four blocks long and if you start at the southern end (Remsen St) and head north you get great views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and the Staten Island ferry. At the northern end you can exit the Promenade to Columbia Heights. A few blocks to the... More

Taking a walk the length of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and gazing across the river at the Mahattan skyscrapers and on the other side Jersey City skyscrapers is a very special view of the City and also of the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge and these views are not to be missed. Afterwards a stroll through lovely Brooklyn Heights and stopping for... More

One of the best free views of NY, you can just sit, relax and enjoy the amazing view. It is a safe place because always there are people walking around.

Beautiful place overall! After our date, we went for a beautiful walk with an amazing view of Manhattan skyline and the water. The houses are beautiful along the way and is quite a romantic place overall.

As a native New Yorker and a Brooklynite, I can tell you that I still get excited walking on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. The view of lower Manhattan is superb. Sad to say, on 9- 11 crowds gathered on the Promenade to watch in stunned horror the destruction of the Twin Towers. It's in one of the premier neighborhoods of... More

Brooklyn promenade is often over looked or not known...for me this is a late night chill spot...sitting on the benches over looking the downtown NY skyline...or sometimes I go alone just to collect my thoughts..

Don't miss this wonderful park. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring water. I didn't find many stops to buy anything.
