john with free tours by foot gave us a great tour of Brooklyn Heights in Oct 2018. He is very knowledgable and a long time New Yorker and lives in Brooklyn! We loved it. Tour took about two hours and he ended it in DUMBO...More

Not too much of a hike up from the pier. Great panoramic view when get there. Short walk to see “brown stones”. Worth a wander up.
