Wonderful views across the river and a pleasant area in which to walk. The children’s playground proved popular with my five year old grand daughter. Good restaurants here.

Old piers have been repurposed for athletic fields, gardens, and other public uses and the walk from DUMBO to Pier 6 is delightful with manicured lawns, beautiful scrubs and trees, lots of places to sit and relax and do some people watching. It's a winner

It was a clear day with beautiful blue sky and the views of the bridge and across the river for Manhattan were quite picturesque. We were there just for a stroll, but could easily have enjoyed a picnic lunch on the grass, as many were.

A photograper's delight - Brooklyn Bridge, lower Manhattan, Statute of Liberty...a charming park built out from Brooklyn Heights in the water.
