Amazing place to take pictures of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and stunning views of Manhattan. This was my first time to New York City and I'm a professional photographer so I had an awesome time. I went there at night as well as during the day. The day it was exciting and so much happening and going on there. At night it's just as vibrant and alive. I never felt unsafe there even in the park.

The Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 1883. It connects the NYC boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River. The Brooklyn Bridge Park is a glorious revival of an industrial wasteland, taking in 85 acres (34 hectares) and 1,3 miles (2 km) of revitalized waterfront. Following an agreement between the State and NYC governments, work on the park began in 2007. We stayed in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, the area is quite safe these days, and the Brooklyn Bridge Park makes a good walk.

This park is fantastic. It is probably one of the best parks in New York City for the views alone. You truly feel like your in Hollywood with the back drop of the city and the overview of Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge. From a distance you can see the Statue of Liberty and the busy traffic of the New York waters. The park itself is such an amazing getaway to spend time with family and friends.
