This was our first visit to the Alamo Drafthouse chain and after visiting all of the other chains in the city I have to admit this was our favorite. While we are not strangers to Reserved Seating, Food/Drink and Adults only, I have to say...More

We went twice. We loved the rules that people have to be silent during film. And they really enforce it. The food is expensive and just so-so. But I think if we go again and explore the menu we would see improvement. Wife had a...More

I expected a lot from this first visit to an Alamo theater. What a disappointment. We watched a movie in theater 7 on the 70mm screen. Here is a short list of our many sufferings: - interminable sequences of trailers, one worse than the other...More

My first time here. The building is new (opened October 2016) after the old Albee Square Mall was demolished. This is within walking distance from me so I decided to check out the Black Panther movie instead of going all the way to the cinemas...More

I love this cinema. It is really easy to get to, which is probably why I frequent it so much, but it has quickly become my favorite in Brooklyn. Food and drinks are pretty good, about average bar prices. (There's also a bar in the...More

Was it crowded, day after opening of the movie? Yes. Was it overly busy? Yes. Was the staff prepared for it? Yes. Loved being able to order, from my movie seat, Rawanda flavored popcorn, have a frozen rose drink, and no one talking during the...More

I enjoyed my movie. The option for having the refreshments brought to you is very nice. The seats did not recline at all or tilt. I would have liked a little more seat comfort to go with the table and refreshment. Seats were also on...More

Favorite theater going experience I’ve ever had and I’m a hooked regular now. Nyc theaters are infamous for rude talking people and people on their phones. Alamo strictly prohibits that and caters to movie appreciators. Great food and love the Wax Room Bar in the...More

I'm from Texas, so I was thrilled when this Alamo Drafthouse opened in Brooklyn. Although they don't show all of the mainstream movies, they have their fair share of good films. Besides, the movie tickets here are actually cheaper than the crappy old movie theaters...More

Great experience. Be careful with the little ones at the wax museum. It might traumatized them. They really should have a warning to alert parents. Aside from that, the service at the theater was great. Love the ambiance.

No. There used to be a parking garage next building over but it was torn down to build luxury apartments. There is street parking but I won't recommend it. The only paid parking close to that area is by Smith Street (changes... More

You were warned MANY times that this was the policy of the theater. It's a not-missable announcement at the beginning of every movie.
