Heard of it, but when november strolling in Brighton Beach, people actually either spoke russian or had a well recognizable accent. Friendly and warm - felt like Brooklyn but anyways different.

Despite the cold, it was a beautiful and historically important place for me to visit. The rides are closed for the season, but looking at the structures, and walking the restored boardwalk was reassuring.

What a lively promenade to walk along! Fresh air, people watching, thought provoking characters and sites and a short stroll to some of the best Brooklyn restaurants. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited this beach with family, located about 1.5 km from Brighton station. Really beautiful with only pebbles, no sand. Lot of seabirds and waves to add excitement. Surrounded by large number of restaurants and gift shops. Perfect place for day picnic. Ideal for surfers.

It’s a lovely clean beach. There was always so done picking litter up. Lifeguard on duty too. The pebbley beach is very hard on your feet. Best take a pair of beach shoes kinder to your feet.

Distant is not too long from Melborne Centre. Along the beach, you can find different colour and design beach boxes. It is winter time in Melborne. I think it is a good place to swim and surfing.

I really love that its away from coney island and its nice clean quiet. Parking was not difficult to find surprising. There are plenty of places to eat walking distance from the beach. I went with my sister and nieces and nephews and we had...More

Forget Coney Island! Brighton Beach is the place to go. It’s a little gem of a beach that makes you feel like you’re in a small RUSSIAN beach town. Go for the people watching (and listening). :)

Away as far from Coney Island side. Go to the other side - the beginning of Brighton side, always much calmer and not too many people. Facilities to change and bathroom are nearby. Enjoy your sunbathing!
