For something different a sea view and fresh air from Brighton Beach. A nice board walk away from the madding crowds the promande has facilities and close to other Subway stations other than Brighton Beach and easily reached from Manhattan. If it's the amusement park you are interested in check opening times as they may be only open on weekends. Clean sandy beaches if have little ones.
