I can compare NYC aquarium with aquariums in Baltimore, Camden, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Liege and Belgium and the one in NYC is the worst. Only a few animals and most of them in an open area, so animals, as well as visitors, must be...More

Firstly, this place is tiny. Like, really tiny. You could cover the entire place in less than an hour... And that’s even if you stop and scrutinise every exhibit. Next, it is packed to the brim with people. Located on Coney Island, it is full...More

The New York Aquarium is not what it was 30 years ago. Definitely a shame. Visit the aquarium in Mystic, CT or Baltimore. Much bigger, more to do.

Take the whole family spend the day then go to Coney Island. One of the best Aquariums in America. Recently renovated. Constantly being updated. Check for discount tickets. Plenty to see and do.

While the lines were long, the wait was definitely worth it. I loved walking through the shark exhibit and watch as shark swam above you. Watching the sea lion show is a must! We paired this with the Brooklyn Bridge.
