With bike riders zigzagging the walkways, souvenir sellers, skaters mixed up with baby carriages and tourists with selfie sticks walking looking up in the clouds, this place is an accident waiting to happen. In the other hand,if you can get to the middle of the bridge...More

What a beautiful walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on a 50 degree, mid-January afternoon! The crowds were there but the views and the experience was well worth the aggravation. Highly recommended.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a must for all tourists and locals. The views are amazing and the bridge, itself, is beautiful. You can go day or night, it’s great any time of day. But preferably when the weather is clear and dry.

Great walk. Better done on a crisp sunny day. Try to avoid rush hour traffic and bikes. In the heat of the summer the diesel fumes can be a bit chokey if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.... otherwise it's a big iconic experience,...More

I took the subway. Only takes about 15 minutes and is very safe. If you are there for a few days, buy an unlimited metro card and you can use it in the subway or bus lines. Well worth the money.
