$10 per person (or $9 for Seniors/Military). Facility is MUCH smaller than we expected. We went on a drizzly day (not unusual in Alaska) and they did provide umbrellas, which was nice. However, the larger animals were so far off we really couldn't see them...More

We had an enthusiastic guide. She provided all kinds of interesting info about the muskox and their fur. A fun part was touching the various types of furs on animals in AK and comparing.

Am touring tomorrow but facility is so well done with knowledgeable staff and great location with lots of parking. Great gift shop.

We were shown around by a hugely enthusiastic young guide who provided a well informed and fascinating commentary about Musk Ox, Caribou and Reindeer, their history, and current status. Well worth a visit, made more so by our guide. Greatly recommended.

Very few places on earth to see these prehistoric like animals. Only found in the far north of the continent in small groups. In Alaska only found on the North Slope.

We only got to see a few mascots, but got lots of pix of the couple 3 or 4 we did see. Wish we had more time to spend there.

A UAF undergraduate students leads a 1 hour tour of the research station! You see musk ox and reindeer up close (the animals are fenced in) and learn all about them and the international research happening at the facility. Our guide was great - really...More

LOVE seeing the muskox, not an easy animal to ever see in person. They are just way cool animals. Been twice, both times taken there by a local. Second time we saw some babies. All seen from the parking area.
