This place has been in Fairbanks since at least the 1980's. Nothing has changed, including the muddy parking lot. The items made from Birch are indeed unique (and therefore expensive). You can watch them make things there. Most, if not all, of the non-wood things...More

We stopped in to see the bowl making process and look at what they were making. Very nice folks in the showroom with 90% Alaskan made products. We watched the bowls being cut from the raw wood. Purchased one with a scene laser etched in...More

I saw alot of advertising so I wanted to stop here. The parking lot was full of holes and mud. The bowls are very expensive. They had a few other souvenir items but they were pricey as well. I recommend skipping this stop!

It was neat to watch bowls being made and the etching process. I was hoping for a bit more selection and the prices seemed a little high on some items. Staff were helpful.

We found a unique heart-shaped bowl here that we plan to use for decorative purposes only. There are many designs and fonts to choose from that they will burn into the bowl and its stand while you wait. The burning process was quick and the...More
