I chose Sirius because it was one of the few opportunities that enabled me to participate solo, and would also provide pick-up and drop-off from my accommodation. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. Nita and her family welcomed me to their property and provided a very exciting experience with the dogs. The dogs... More

The highlight of our trip to Fairbanks! We echo the words of all other viewers... Nita was wonderful, and her son-in-law Thomas was great! And then there were the dogs, such sweet and hard working puppies! We were able to play with a litter of little puppies and love on the dogs we mushed with- and they really do love... More

My family of three went there last week. Nita treated us well. The dog sledding was fun although it was cut short due to a lack of snow.

Anita and her crew were so incredibly nice and made sure we had a great time. Despite coming in November, it hadn't snowed at all before we got into Fairbanks and Anita was nice enough to email me to let me know and give me other options of things we could do at her place or even a full refund.... A few miles out of Fairbanks and away from light pollution you will find Sirius Sled Dogs. The location is fantastic for enjoying the Northern Lights, and in the small cabin offering warmth and cosiness and hot drinks, there are large windows through which to view the NL. A really lovely aspect of the location is the beautiful sled dogs... More

This was an experience we will never forget. It was a last minute thing, as the company we had originally scheduled cancelled on us. Anita was so nice to fit us in at the last minute, and what an fun time we had! We met the dogs that we're going to be pulling our "sled" (a modified 63 VW chassis).... More

I went there during summer, so was on a wheeled cart instead of snow sledding. But it was still fun to ride. Owner is very informative and caring. She prepared plastics to wear so I can stay clean from the mud splash. She also delivered A-Z fact about dog sledding which was very interesting. After sledding, you get to meet... More

By far one of the greatest experiences in Fairbanks! We were there mid-March and were originally scheduled to do an afternoon sled, but it was unfortunately way too hot for the dogs. We were so disappointed since we heard other travelers have their dog sledding tours canceled with other companies due to the unusually warm weather, but Anita was so... More

I was originally signed up for an Aurora tour and hanging out with a few of Nita's sled dogs. Weather wasn't cooperating, Nita gave me the option of a sled dog ride instead. I have a new favorite thing.

Anita, Jeff, Ben, and the the dogs were great! One of the highlights for my week long Alaska trip! Jeff picked us up from our hotel and once you're there, you will find some dogs just laying or roaming around. We got there, met Anita and the dogs and started getting ready for the run. The dogs were so excited... More
