It is my first dog sledding, I was exciting but need to overcome the freezing weather condition! I will say the dogs and the owner / staffs are so friendly! In the waiting room, Leslie provided us all the thick jacks, hats, gloves, boots and try to keep us warm, and try to make us have a nice ride with... More

Thank you for reviewing. You have visited us at a very odd time weather-wise. This year (on Dec. 1) we have not received enough snow to offer our dog SLED rides and have been offering our Fall dog CART rides. While the Cart ride is as much fun as you can have with sled dogs without snow, we look forward... More

Me and my wife went in a 3-day overnight adventure dog sledding on feb/2015. We had such a great time. Everything was awesome, the instructors were very nice, the place was very beautiful and the dogs were so friendly. We would definitely do it again. After seeing northern lights that was surely the best part of the trip.

We met with Stephanie and Spencer (I hope I didn't get the names wrong!) and had a great time! It was only the two of us and another couple. You could tell that these hosts are genuine dog lovers and know every dog by heart. They are both very knowledgeable and I don't recall any questions unanswered. It's super interesting... More

Was so so excited when they offered a sled dog ride in summer as usually sledding is done in winter and I was there in summer. You can have the option of just the kennel tour to meet the dogs, or have a cart ride with the dogs pulling you on top of the kennel tour. The difference between the... More

This is a must do if you are even close to Fairbanks. You will have an opportunity to actually participate in a working dog sled facility. You can pet the dogs, harness them, and hook them to the buggy. You will learn everything about dog sledding. The ride is at least 15 to 20 minutes long. It was a once... More

Thanks for joining us! Fall time is great time to experience our fall training activities with sled dogs. As the days get shorter and the temperatures get cooler, sled dog enthusiasm nears the 'over-the-top' zone. This season offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience with dogsledding. Our guides offer their many years of stories and expertise on the subject of... More

I booked a dog sled tour one month before I went there. On that day, my husband and I went there on time n we saw a sign "CLOSED" put in the middle of the drive way. I called them and the voice msg said please call another number. Then I called that number, a woman answered the phone and told... More

Hi there, I am very sorry you had a bad experience with our service. Despite our best efforts to contact you via phone and email, we were unable to reach you. My guides did put out the 'closed' sign to try and keep people from getting into trouble in the driveway. Part of our crew (including myself) were away on... More

We participated in an overnight trip with gnomelang and agree completely with their review. Leslie, Dave, Kevin, and the staff are experienced professionals who took time to guide us "mushing rookies" through all aspects of our adventure. The overnight trip provided us with the opportunity to fully participate in every activity. We gained a sincere appreciation for the dogs' athleticism... More

Kevin, our sled "driver" was very informative, check in staff was friendly. It was good to talk to a local (Kevin) and learn more about the area and what they like to do at different times of the year. Also learned a lot about sled dogs and some of the training. Dogs were taken care of.

I did the one hour ride at Paws for Adventure and loved it! My musher was Kevin and he taught me how to drive the sled, which was incredibly fun. The dogs are wonderful and sweet. The trail is well maintained and it felt fantastic to be out in the open with the dogs running. Paws does provide you with... More

I found Paws for Adventure by chance, and I am so thankful I did! We have visited multiple times when family comes to visit, and every time we get top-notch service, excellent rides, and have ample time to visit with the dogs. Her mushers are friendly and informative and help riders have a comfortable and enjoyable ride. We've done the... More
