Enjoyed the Riverboat cruse and all the effort they put in to give you information and experiences. The village and guide as well as the dog sledging displays, airplane landing on river etc. One of the best tours!! And we really enjoyed the lunch they served!

We stayed two nights at the Tors Trail campground and did the Granit Trail. We had an amazing time, the campground are spacious and really clean, even the vault toilets. We really an recommend to stay there.

when compared to other places in alaska, this is not worth the visit. this is like any other park and if you have lot of time you can do hiking/ biking here.

This is a great place in town for a picnic, birthday party, or camping. We've lived here for years and didn't realize it was here! Certainly a gem.

We went to the park in the evening and it was very beautiful! The have a lot of camping, swim beach, play ground, walking paths. There is a place you can rent paddle boats, boats to go for the day or hourly. It was free to go in for the day but you pay a fee to camp.

We mainly drove around and did a few short hikes but this would also be a great area to camp and fish.

Even in the dark of winter this place was utterly magical. We passed through on our way to Chena Hot Springs - at the end of Chena Hot Springs Road (just under 60 miles). This area is all about the journey so if your heading out to this area allow yourself ample time to stop, explore, enjoy and appreciate the... More

Hands down the best and most relaxing get away! Definitely a beautiful place to visit! The ATC riding, the hand crafted Appletini's and the Hot Springs were the best part of my visit! Definitely a must visit again soon place! When you place your feet into the hot springs it's like you getting your own foot massage! And when you... More

Lots of pull-offs to take a quiet moment to watch the Chena River. There were lots of hiking paths as well as campsites. We pulled off to have a picnic and watch the River. Lots of picnic tables available. They have a good website about the recreation area.
