It was over a year ago that I was Kayaking on Lake Vancouver, and visiting Vancouver Lake Park. The park is beautiful, and it is not the fault of the lake that I tipped the kayak and lost my glasses.... lol This is a beautiful place to enjoy a very nice afternoon, on a sunny day in Vancouver, Washington. Have... More

Was a good place to cool off. Park was very neat & clean, but water was sort of dirty that day. More picnic tables needed.

Some friends and I went Kayaking on the lake last summer. We stopped in the middle to rest and chit chat. About that time a very large carp came to the surface and scared the heck out of the group. As we began to paddle, 3-4 ft carp began to jump out of the water as our paddles touched them.... More

Man-made lake with a beach and walking trails. Nice areas for walking, small beach, looks like a good place for birdwatching.

Smelly goose poop beach with swimmer's itch warnings! Stay away! If you drive through in your car on your way to Frenchmen's beach, you'll know not to ever return.

Nice lake to swim, and pic-nic. No boat launch that I could see, but clean bathrooms, plenty of parking. Nice lake to come to on a warm day .
