I had never visited the Grant House restaurant because I assumed it would be pretentious and expensive. Was I ever wrong! I'm so glad I decided to actually give it a try. The menu was reasonably priced for a nice restaurant (most expensive lunch item was $15), the food was delicious and the server was attentive and friendly. The historical... More

Very nice restaurant on site, reasonable prices. Great spot for lunch while visiting Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Private offices upstairs, so not able to tour the entire house.

The dining is kind of elegant, tablecloths and flowers and such, good service. Limited variety, but because it is a reserve the prices are great.

I had driven over to Fort Vancouver to walk around Officers Row and as luck would have it the weather turned to rain. I spotted the sign that this was a restaurant and thought that this would be an excellent shelter and a good time to have lunch. All the flags lining the front of the house and its wrap... More

Ulysses S Grant continued to serve as a Army General after his presidency and lived in the Grant house on Officer's Row, overlooking Fort Vancouver. Now a fine restaurant, the history still loses from the walls. Turn are available.

Beautiful historic atmosphere, easy to get to from downtown Vancouver; great service, and really-- have never had such a fine salmon, so perfectly and tenderly cooked! A great place on Officers Row.

My family of 4 were here for dinner with 2 friends on a Saturday night. Finding the house/restaurant on "Officers Row" at Old Ft. Vancouver was a little tricky for folks from out-of-town, but not too difficult. The house, itself, is a gorgeous example of architecture from that period (mid-to-late 1800's), but the name itself is a bit misleading. General/President... More

They have a restaurant and Bar. Food is good. Really enjoy the ambiance. The building inside in the bar has the original log and chinking walls, The Old fireplaces, beautiful sun room. Fun to eat out on the veranda. Setting is in a Park among other historical homes.

This delightful old home is a treat to visit. It is well maintained and the architecture is very interesting. The restaurant is also very good. Everything I have eaten there is wonderful, made even more pleasant by the atmosphere.
