This is a little tourist stop where the Missouri and Yellowstone rivers meet. It has a good little gift shop and some exhibits. As in so many places we traveled the staff was wonderful - they had watermelon out and as it was a 35+...More

The Center is nicely done and modern, but there is actually no view of the confluence of the two rivers anyplace on the property. The place is also just south of the small town of Buford. The address the state of North Dakota actually is...More

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretation Center was nice but there was not a lot to see or do. Inside, there were two small rooms with displays and another room with a long movie playing on a tv (that we didn't watch). Outside, there is a paved...More

Interesting exhibits of the evolution of the area from prehistoric to present time with emphasis on trade, agriculture, and transportation.

If one is interested in the history of the Lewis and Clark expedition, this is a good stopping place since they camped near this museum. A film and exhibits chronicle the importance of the confluence in the exploration and settlement of the area.

A visit to the center helps visitors to appreciate and understand the geography and natural forces at play in this northern US region of wide open spaces and large meandering rivers. The human history is also covered in the displays.

Stopped in to walk the nature trail and see the forts. Neat area. Has a camping lot next to it that had some shady looking characters, but otherwise a nice trail with good information stops.

Very well maintained. Museum is surprisingly rich with history. Bookstore is well-stocked. The walking trail along the riverbank with storyboards gives visitors a good chance to get some fresh air and exercise while learning why this exact location was critical to settlers and explorers.

This is a great place to visit in an area with not a lot of attractions worth visiting. It has beautiful scenic views and a nice, flat paved walking trail. A good place for a picnic.

This is a very goood place to learn about the importance of river travel and trade for the Western US. You can see how far the river has moved since the docks were built. The building has some very good displays of the areas history.
