90-Minute Savannah History & Haunts Candlelit Walking Ghost Tour

748 reviews
Though charmingly romantic by day, Savannah becomes altogether spookier after sundown. Discover the city’s macabre side when you embark on a nighttime, ghostly walking tour, illuminated by candlelight. Meet your costumed guide in central Savannah after dark, and discover its historical squares, cobblestone streets, moss-draped trees, and even its cemeteries. As you go, learn about the city’s scariest ghost stories, unexplained happenings, and chilling characters.

Gary has painstakingly assembled this collection spanning everything from the Revolution to Desert Storm and has it all displayed along with pictures of the soldiers who wore the uniforms, relevant newspapers and old letters (some of my favorites). He's generous with his time and information as well; this is a must-see I would say!

Outstanding. Uniforms and other memorabilia from past wars, such as the Civil War and the two World Wars. Uniforms from the Germans of those World Wars. Concentration camp clothing of inmates. Gas mask. Hand weapons. Posters. Individual accounts of military hero action. On and on. I was spellbound, and edified.
