We stopped in Savannah for a day trip and decided to stop here first to see what kind of activities we could do while in the city. Plenty of brochures to get you started. The staff recommended some tours and things to do as well.

This visitor's center and associated museum were well done. We were lucky enough to be there at a time when a gentleman was doing a Revolutionary War talk and reenactment. Well done!

Most of the access to River Street is by stairs but you can find elevators at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the corner of Bay Street and Bull Street that will take you down to River Street.
