We like any kind of history, so we thought this would be an interesting place to visit. It was a hit and miss experience, and that’s why I couldn’t give it a higher rating. We learned a lot on the two tours we took and...More

Great for older children- not babies or toddlers It is technical site and takes a little more age and interest in trains

My grandson enjoyed the museum. We rode the train wish it had lasted longer. Most kids have never even rode on a train. Disappointed in the children’s museum .

My son (4) and daughter (7) really enjoyed our visit here. I would say allow for about an hour and make sure to take a ride!

Ray at the railroad museum was very knowledgeable about the steam engine and tour. He shared facts and individualized the tour to our group of seven. The steam engine demo and roundhouse was awesome. This is a must see for railroad fans.

The buildings were beautiful; it was hands-on experiences; favorite car was The Atlanta, an executive passenger car; perfectly preserved cars and locomotives; loved the roundhouse! So much to learn while having lots of fun. My grandson summed it up with"It was amazing!"
