This is a beautiful park. Pets are allowed on leash or closely supervised. The park is divided into sections of activity. The large grassy area is for pets to run, people to lounge, or picnic. There is a confederate soldier statue that was made in Canada and shipped to Savannah. In another section there is a playground, concession and restrooms.... More

This is a 30 acre park in the heart of Savannah. It is pet friendly and has a concert stage for shows on the lawn. A large wrought iron fountain stands at one end of the park. There is a statue of a rough rider being that they staged in the park at one time. There were fake forts in... More

We have walked the park end to end and enjoyed all the locals enjoying a warm Sunnyvale Saturday. The fountain is majestic and the park history interesting. All the kids were having a great time.

A very nice well kept park in the historic district. A beautiful fountain. We just enjoyed a nice stroll through the park and the farmer's market that was there that day.

I walked through this park and was amazed at the amount of people that use it, which is great to see. Plenty to do in this park - walking, playing sport, kids play area and a stage that performances are held on just to name a few. Great place to sit and read a book or watch the world go... More

We rented the city bikes and rode all over Savannah. Well worth it. This is a very pretty park and the trees are lovely. Sadly the town just got over a very bad hurricane so things were a little messy and they were still working on cleaning up all the downed branches leaves and trees. A must visit spot.

What a cool park. Lots of space and things to do. Even had an area for kids. The fountain was impressive.

Stunning trees... These views will make your camera sing... The focal point of the park is the grand water fountain. From any angle it's breathtaking. Get your selfie stick ready to capture the memories.
