I think the title says it all! This is the park with the beautiful fountain. If you keep walking south, you will come to the beautiful open air area where people have picnics, kids are running around and the live oaks line either side. Wonderful way to spend part of your day.

Great place for pictures! This fountain is in a lot of different photos for this city. I saw it many times before we got here. We actually stopped by here on return from a local grocery store to by drinks and treats to take back to our hotel on Bay St. We stopped here for awhile just to take it... More

Forsyth Park is a beautiful 30 acre park that is a must see if you are visiting Savannah. Just take a relaxing stroll through the park and be amazed at all the huge live oaks with hanging moss throughout the grounds. Plenty of choices of things to do....... visit the famous 1850's fountain with plenty of places to sit and... More

The park is beautiful! Very large, and relaxing! Simply sit on a bench and enjoy the nice weather, and people watch. Even better, bring a blanket and plan a picnic out on the massive and beautiful grassy area. There was a man playing his music, kids playing, and people walking. A very enjoyable experience. There's even a small cafe in... More

This was a nice park. Nothing great. But perfect if you have kids or dogs. They had some musicians around the fountain. Definitely nice for people watching for a bit.

Best to go early in the morning, catch all the local dog owners giving the dogs the run around the big field, can get crowded but it is huge...Farmers Market Saturday morning that is authentic and offers some great eats...especially the couple of bakers that show up. It is a must for a classic photo in front of the fountain,... More

The park has lots of scenery and green space along with play ground areas, shade and a building with a cafe/Starbucks and restrooms.
