So, I went here with 5 other women. We were on a girls' weekend! We thought it would be really expensive for dinner, so we stopped for a drink and planned to go somewhere else afterwards. We were very lucky. A comfy area right by...More

Unless you enjoy trying to have a dinner conversation in front of a loudspeaker, do not let them seat you in the large dining room on the second floor.

Fun venerable restaurant. My wife and I shared the fried green tomatoes to start (surprisingly excellent). She ordered the scallops and I had one of their signature dishes the crispy flounder (both entrees were very good). Would have given the place a 4 if the...More

Had a wonderful scallop dinner, but the desserts are the main attraction. The key lime pie was one of the best I ever had and the peanut butter chocolate bomb- was the bomb!!!

Our friends had been to the tavern in the basement for dinner on a previous trip. They thought the upstairs would require us to dress up so we went by to check out the tavern. We were greeted and offered a tour of the house...More

Service was lacking on our trip this time. The waiter seemed to be very distracted and forgetful. We never received drink refills, and ended up waiting for more than 20 minutes just to get our check so we could leave. We have been here many...More

We ate in the upstairs dining room, the furthest to the left of the staircase (there are two rooms). It had no more than 6 tables and was quiet and quite intimate. We loved it!
